VoiceXML – Voice Activated Web Access - is a new XML schema intended to standardize the delivery of audio dialogs for voice access and interactive voice response linked to Web-based content and applications. In a nutshell, Voice XML is used to allow verbal access, over the telephone, to a data driven website. It brings the power of voice to the web! This one-to-two day technical course will introduce the participant to the use of VoiceXML technology through a series of hands-on workshops based on real-world projects.

Workshop Objectives:

Upon completion of the Voice/XML workshop, the participant will have a free account with a major VoiceXML service provider, understand VoiceXML and how it works, and be able to voice enable a simple website.
